Simple Understandable Kabbalah
Welcome to the spirituality pages for Rev. Maggy Whitehouse, author and international workshop leader in Kabbalah, Bible Metaphysics and Prosperity.
Kabbalah
Kabbalah is a funny thing. It fascinates some and can seem scary to others. Like most spiritual traditions, it either suits you or it doesn’t.
I bet that if you’ve found your way here, you’re interested but possibly perplexed because it all seems horribly complicated. Let’s see if I can help…
Firstly, it’s not a religion; it’s more of a language or a matrix for understanding how the Universe works and where we fit into it. Like most spiritual traditions it has different faces; none of them are right or wrong, but some of them are more helpful than others. This site will be helpful if you are not into the numbers game of gematria, if you’re not Jewish (though you are very welcome if you are!) and if you don’t speak Hebrew.
I discovered Kabbalah through the grace of marrying a Jewish man after being widowed and going through a crisis of faith which led me to doubt and reject the Christianity of my birth. I studied for 19 years with Z’ev ben Shimon Halevi who teaches the closest tradition I know to the one which would have been taught to Moses and Jesus of Nazareth and which underpins Judaism, Christianity and Islam. It pre-dates the Lurianic Kabbalah of the Kabbalah Centre and differs from the Lurianic teaching in believing that when God created the Universe he made it perfect. In this School of the Soul I found a system where I could put down roots, grow a strong trunk and branches and heal myself. Everything I teach now, from prosperity to spiritual development, has this as its foundation.
My books are beginners’ guides to Kabbalah aimed at helping you to find your own unique path in life. I’m proud to say that many people say they are fantastic for helping people to understand the basics of what Kabbalah is and how to use it for personal and spiritual development.
All my books are listed on a separate page and are available to purchase—just click on the book in which you’re interested to go through to the relevant site.
