There is an ancient curse: ‘May you live in interesting times.’

We are living in very interesting times… Times where a powerful undercurrent is causing huge divisions.

It is the war between masculine and feminine—making both attributes toxic.

Do sex and gender issues really form part of what’s happening in the world’s politics right now? Hell, yes… Patriarchy is gender hierarchy and power imbalance. It thrives on ‘othering’ anyone who does not conform to its beliefs and requires control over those others in order to feel superior. All fanatical regimes do this.

Right now we can see this clearly in the USA; it is inherent within the Taliban and in most world religions. And it is time to dig down to the roots of hatred and learn how to heal them.

Fascism fears the feminine in both men and women and must control it to make it subservient. Ironically, Patriarchy teaches women (and other ‘others’) that the only valid system is theirs which makes them strive for the only power available instead of nurturing their own inherent powerful identity.

We’ll be exploring the history of Patriarchy primarily through religion and looking at how faulty knowledge of biology and our need to fence off land contributed to denigrating 50% of the World’s essential knowledge.

Session 2: The Dark Feminine

Today we look into the strengths and the dangers within the feminine (within both sexes); examine exactly how Patriarchal societies poison and corrupt the female and how the damaged female poisons and corrupts the male in turn.
Until we understand what the feminine is and why it is so necessary it is all too easy to reject it. The feminine is hard work; it includes darkness, discipline, grief and letting go so it is no wonder we prefer to comfort ourselves with screens, food and gossip rather than seeking the balance which will bring a genuine health. Toxic femininity means we keep our daughters in the same trap as we were taught; this cycle is the first one that both men and women have to transform in order to heal the World.

Session 3: Ego and The Soul of the World

Thursday 16th October 2025. 8pm UK time online.

What ego is, what it does and how it’s a great servant and a terrible master. Kabbalah teaches the importance of understanding that our ego is who we think we are and our Self is who we truly are, Only our Self has access to our Soul.

The ego pulls into itself by comparing, competing, and separating itself from others: “I am not like that,” it says. The soul, however, does the opposite: “I am that.” (Tat Tvam Asi, in Hindu teachings). It sees itself in God, the other, flowers and trees, animals, and even the enemy: viewing similarity instead of separateness. It participates in the human dilemma instead of placing itself above and beyond all tensions.

We’ll examine how our egos are trained by the age of seven to have powerful societal beliefs about what is right and wrong. Our views about men and women and male and female roles are programmed in by our family, school and tribe and ego hates change. There is only one thing more dangerous than a toxic ego, and that is a toxic group ego.
It takes discipline and free will to update harmful or out-of-date beliefs.
So what were you trained in which is now unhelpful? We look at the prejudices we don’t even know we carry, how to question the ego’s power and grant ourselves access the Soul of the World.

Session 4: Race, Colour and Tribe

Thursday 23rd October 2025. 8pm UK time online.

Once we understand ego we can learn to understand the danger of the group ego’s power of projection and desire for war. Today we look at healthy and unhealthy boundaries and how it is self-hatred and weakness that project onto ‘the other’ and can only temporarily be assuaged before a new enemy emerges.
There is a view that agriculture meant the end of equality—once there is a fence, there is ‘mine and yours’ and a need to protect what is fenced in and reject what is fenced out.
When we make tribal decisions based on those projections, we become destroyers each other and our planet rather than blessings.

Session 5: Living the Honourable Life.

Thursday 30th October 2025. 8pm UK time online.

This session is a summing up of what we have learnt, questions and resolutions and a guide to techniques and practices which help us become a loving and powerful spiritual warrior. A spiritual warrior is not a soldier sent into battle to fight for someone else’s cause, they are a soul standing in the power of Now, using a perfect balance of masculine and feminine energies for each moment. They are the still eye at the centre of the storm which offers refuge and transformation for anyone who cares to step into Light

The Course is weekly on Thursday evenings at 8pm UK time. It will take place on Zoom.

Start date: Thursday 2nd October; end date Thursday 30th October 2025.
